Bio
Quincy Y. C. Alexander (born November 04, 1986) better known by his stage
name Soul, is a Trinidadian rapper. He was introduced to hip hop music at
the age of 10 by his big cousin and since then, he has been in love with
the lyrical art form. By the time he was 14, under the moniker Killa Q, he
started freestyling during lunch breaks and after school becoming
increasingly skilled at the craft.
In February 2002, he wrote his first song in the middle of his math book,
mostly during math class. Till this day, many associate this as to the
reason why he failed said class. By the time he was 18, he had recorded
almost 100 songs, most of which were done in the basement of his home,
including the underground hit song "Froggy Boyz". After many pleadings from
friends and listeners, encouraging him to get in the studio and release
high quality music to the mass public, he finally did in 2012, releasing
his Critically Acclaimed Mixtape "The Awakening".
